WALLER MILL'S HISTORY...
In 1964 Rev. David Moore was moved to start an independent baptist church. Supported by several local families, the church began at an old service station on Richmond Road under the name Central Baptist Church of Williamsburg. Three years later the church changed its name to Colonial Baptist Church and acquired three plots of land at its current location on Waller Mill Road.
Feeling his calling to establish a church was complete, Rev. Moore resigned and was followed by Rev. Douglas Johnston who diligently pastored Colonial Baptist of Williamsburg from 1971 to 2005. After more than three decades under the stewardship of Rev. Johnston, Pastor Eric Ickes was selected to take over leadership of the church in 2005.
In 2008, the church embarked on a new era -- changing its name to Waller Mill Bible Church and experiencing revitalization characterized by purposeful discipleship, expository Bible teaching, active church members, and Christ-exalting worship. We hope you will be blessed by attending Waller Mill Bible Church and be part of shaping the church's coming chapters for the glory of God.
In the spring of 2019, Pastor Eric Ickes felt God redirecting him into a new realm of ministry overseas.
God graciously brought Pastor Trey Meester and his family to Waller Mill in the late summer of 2022.
